R.J. Reynolds Day of Action

 Support members of the Farm Labor Organizing Committee as we launch a new campaign to call on RJ Reynolds to take responsibility for the tragedies that are occurring in the tobacco fields throughout North Carolina. Help tobacco harvesters gain respect in their work with this campaign for health and dignity in the workplace. Come show your support and stand with us on this Day of Action.

 The North Carolina Chapter of the National Lawyer Guild routinely provides legal observing services in North Carolina and beyond for protests and marches.
On October 27, 2007, NCNLG will provide these services at the March, Rally and Memorial for Victims of Torture in Smithfield, NC. Anyone interested in serving as a legal observer for this or any march, please contact Vanessa Lucas at vankatlucas at hotmail.com. Training is available. |
